Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Formsmith marketing website at formsmith.app, operated by Gnana Siva Sai V (the project owner). There is no paid hosted Formsmith service yet, so these terms are intentionally short. They will be expanded before a hosted tier launches.
The software is separate
The Formsmith software is open source and governed by its own licenses, not by these website terms. The core is licensed under AGPL-3.0-only, with a permissive (MIT) integration surface and commercially-licensed enterprise modules. The authoritative map is LICENSING.md in the source repository. Nothing here grants or restricts rights to the software beyond those licenses.
Using this website
- The site and its content are provided for information about the Formsmith project. Please use it lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse it.
- If you submit information (for example a waitlist email or a form response), you confirm you are entitled to share it. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
- Trademarks, brand names, and logos remain the property of their owners. See the project's trademark policy in the repository for permitted uses of the Formsmith name.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist lets us email you when the hosted tier opens. It does not create a contract, guarantee access, or reserve a price. You can ask us to remove you at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
No hosted service yet
A managed hosted tier is planned but not available. Any references to hosted plans are forward-looking. When the hosted service launches, it will have its own service terms and data-processing agreement, and those will govern that service.
No warranty
This website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We may change or take down the site at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the project owner resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your own country.
Changes
We may update these terms as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
